The 7x50 WP Deep Sea binocular has center focusing. It is equipped with a built-in internal rangefinder and directional compass reticle to actively assist boaters with direction and bearing indicators during navigation. A distance indicator on one of the objectives allows distance determination when used in conjunction with the rangefinder reticle. With fully multicoated BAK4 prisms for crisp images, it is waterproof and fogproof and has a non-slip ergonomic rubber design. A carrying case, neck strap, ocular lens covers with tethered objective caps, lens cloth, and Barska's Limited Lifetime Warranty are included.
The compass does not operate in the southern hemisphere.

I work in a cruise ship and these come in handy during my time off. Great for marine sightings and optics are clear. I did drop them once on the beach and they survived. I don't really need the compass but they're accurate if you need them.
The viewing quality is great! Wide field of vision and 7X works great while out on a boat. They feel good in your hands and have a good weight to them. I'm not sure if they float (not willing to test that). They come with a comfortable neck strap that doesn't hurt your neck or anything. Still trying to figure out the reticle, but it seems to work as intended.
Excellent construction. I am a naturalist using the 7X50 binoculars year-round for birding on land, and marine mammal observation from boats. Lens covers do not fit snugly, but I can live with that.
