Let's me see .223 shots at up to 100 yards with great clarity, but it was a little fuzzy at 200 yards. I like that it comes with a tripod which is a little too lightweight for my taste but it does the job of keeping the scope pointed in the right direction. As a whole, this is a decent deal.
Great clarity, regardless of the price. Nice compact size for both range and field. I've let fellow shooters look through my Barska 18-36x50 Blackhawk spotting scope to see for themselves. Pleasantly surprised, this scope goes to the top of their list while shopping for a spotting scope. Very popular now at our local gun club! Regardless of how the included tripod looks it is very sturdy. The rubber feet keep it in place on most any terrain. Others have called the tripod "flimsy looking", yet, when they buy their own Barska scopes, admit it works great.
