BARSKA’s new Point Black series is specifically engineered for the .223
caliber bullet with a multi-grain bullet drop compensation chart (B.D.C) on the
exterior elevation knob. The multi-grain B.D.C features three common med to
heavy weight .223 bullet grains: 50 grain, 55 grain and 62 grain. The Point
Black series of riflescopes are engineered to be versatile full featured
riflescopes to be utilized with the large selection of firearms that chamber the
high velocity .223 bullet. Point Black riflescopes work in perfect combination
with such firearms as varmint rifles, bolt action rifles, semiautomatic rifles,
AR-15 / M-16 assault rifles, Mini-14 and ranch rifles. Point Black riflescopes
also feature impressive fully multi-coated optics, high impact rated shockproof
construction, side parallax adjustment, variable low to high power zoom

Pros:
Easy to use and works well so far. I've only had two shooting sessions with it shooting 55 grainers. I sighted in at 100 yards, and the turret kept me on target after turning it on a target at 300. The reticle is nice and the illumination option with red, green, or blue is a very nice feature.
Cons:
Only has BDC to 400 yards - after that you still need holdover. Had to get taller scope rings because my rifle bolt on my savage hit the battery compartment/reticle turret. Also, not very clear over 20x magnification with very noticeable chromatic aberration.
Comments:
For the price, you can't expect it to not have some flaws. But it does its job and I'm glad I got it.

Pros:
I must say, this scope is BAD TO THE BONE. The 3G IR Recticle is nice and bright, and the scope is easy to set up. The style of the Point Black scope series scopes make any rifle look cool
