Cons:
Safe does not open in silent mode - A family member or thief can hear safe being open. Locking mechanism does not prevent locks from being pushed to unlock position when doors open.

I stored my finger print in safe multiple times. This allowed safe to reduce the likely hood of errors during opening. May be a little tall to go under some beds without lifting up your bed frame 1st. Overall, heavy duty design, solid construction, and predrilled holes to mount to floor/wall makes this safe a great buy and value.

I bought this to keep my handguns in when not being carried or out for home defense. I considered less-costly, more traditional combination safes including the finger-touch models; but after reading reviews that called reliability into question decided against them. I couldn't be happier with this safe.
For $50-$75 more than you'd pay for an inferior safe, this one is extremely well-built. The programming of the lock is simple and fast, the back-up system sufficiently easy-to-use (IF you are the owner and know how); and the capacity abundant. The safe opens quickly with just the touch of the (programmed) finger.
I have two full-size handguns, ammo, and several spare magazines in there and STILL have room for important documents and some other valuables. I bolted it to a wall in a seldom-used closet (easy, fast and secure), but you can just as easily bolt it to the floor with the pre-drilled holes the manufacturer provides. In terms of size, the best way to describe it is hotel room safe-sized.

Pros:
This is the only way I could think of to have quick access to a gun but keep it totally safe from kids. The safe has NEVER opened for anyone who has tried it without thier prints programed in it. The only times it has failed to open for me is if my finger is at quite an angle to the reader or not in very far, its not picky but you can also program it with your fingers at angles to avoid any problem. My only complaint would be that I wish there was a way to not have the loud beeper go off as you open it, kinda defeats the stealth effect.

Top notch product, shipping and packaging. After cutting open three boxes to get to the safe, after only waiting three days for standard 5-9 day delivery, I was very pleased with what I saw. The set up was simple and I scanned my forefinger 5 times, once at every angle because that was the advice I read. The safe opens everytime at every angle I place that finger and no other fingers opens it. I tried my other 9 and my daughter's 10 and error out. I am very happy with this product and look forward to many years of protection.

Pros:
The Barska Biometric Safe is fantastic. It works quicker than I had expected. We now have our handguns put away safely and we have instant access to them. I would highly recommend this fingerprint safe, it has opened every-time we have tried it.
